Understanding Generations in the Nonprofit Workplace: Why It Matters

Understanding Generations in the Nonprofit Workplace:

Why It Matters

The co-mingling of four and five generations in paid and unpaid work has many implications for the way work gets done and the roles people take on.  This training helps participants:

  • Increase awareness about the characteristics of different generations
  • Understand why these characteristics relate to organizational infrastructure, supervision, communication, and more
  • Develop effective strategies for supporting staff and volunteers
  • Create an environment that encourages collegiality and productivity
