Civic Engagement for All

Specifically focused to harness the talents, skills, and experiences of age 50+ immigrants and refugees, this training is for both ethnic-based community organizations and agencies seeking to expand and diversify their volunteer pool. 


Participants learn to:

  • Appreciate unique features of foreign-born people age 50+
  • Build authentic cross-cultural partnerships
  • Create dynamic formal and informal volunteer opportunities
  • Engage and support foreign-born elders in civic roles
